Now i am not sure if its because of the hundreds of noisy children (school trip on a tuesday??- at least 3 different sets of children) or the general fact it was an aquarium but it just was not the same as being in the water scuba diving...still a nice trip for an hour or two to keep my mind and camera busy lol. Then spoilt myself with dim sum and a fresh fruit smoothie drink (kiwi, pineapple and lime- yummy!)
Now...i have to let you in on some minor amusement...its probably one of those times where its not funny unless your here but to get to the rooms in the hostel you have to get through this door (dum de dummmm)...well to get through it you have to pass your key card over this pad and Push...this obviously means when you come back down you have to pull.
Well half the people can't seem to remember to swipe there key card then when they come back down forget that you have to press the button the otherside to unlock the door but because it says push backwards they still push. I even had a guy come back up to me in the dorms yesterday to say he couldn't get out, i couldn't help but giggle and ask if he had tried pulling it...god knows how he has survived so far travelling- i have known the guy 2 days and the word numpty comes to mind and he has already been hassled- luckily for him he only has a week to do Thailand, but he has done South America, NZ and Australia before here just not very aware...or maybe lacks common sense. Now i know i have my blonde moments and don't plan much buttt.....
oh well never mind. Some girls and I just had a laugh about the door as they have just worked it out and can enter and leave easily now...oh the little things lol.
One day in Bangkok left...

One Day Left...
... and we're looking forward to seeing you home! Make sure that you keep something warm with you on the plane - could be cool air-conditioning and England is DEFINITELY air-cooled at present!! Hard frosts overnight and not much above freezing during the day - and that's for the rest of the week. I'll send a comforter down with Chauffeur Dad. Take care and have a safe trip back. Much love, Lyn xx
