Hiya!!

We are having a brilliant time so far, Bangkok is the maddest place on earth! Funny smells, people etc.

We arrived at around 3pm,went through immigration, collected our bags and then got in ta taxi to our hotel. Only we couldnt find our hotel, so we scrapped that idea and found somewhere else. Have paid 13pound for 1 night, for a double room with air con and a kind of shower!! The shower is just on the wall next to the toilet!!!

Anyway, we have already been in a Tuk Tuk a kind of scooter/motorbike with a thing on the back for people to sit in. That was crazy, it was wizzing along the streets with us two nearly crying in the back!!

Went to the red light district, not to see any lady boys, but to go to the night market which was brilliant. Bought a pair of Birkenstock sandles, and some tiffany jewellery. Phil got insulted by being called Moon Face, which didnt impress him much!!

Tomorrow we are going to have a look around Bangkok, the floating markets and some temples and

then go and get the train up to the North, ChiangMai. Where we have booked somewhere.

Will write again and post some pics.
