Well, not much to say really.
Just sitting in an internet cafe/bar/hotel in Bangkok on Khao San Road, apparantly its pronounced (Cow San) and when I said it the 'Western' way I had a crazy old Thai man laughing at me like Id just told him a really funny joke!
As Ive probably mentioned it is so here, its a case of at the moment sitting here with a nice fan blowing on me or trapsing the streets for a couple of hours waiting for the train to Chiang Mai.
So me and Phil are eating yummy Pad Thai and sipping water (as much as we can get!).
Everything here is just so strange, when we first arrived and stepped out of the passport control bit I felt like running the other way. There were so many people asking us if we wanted a lift, where we were going and just trying to bundle us into their taxi.
When we arrived in Khao San Road it was pretty quiet, but then we went out later in the evening and it was absoultely packed.
There was loads of stalls with people selling food, sunglasses, sandles etc.
I wish I had bought about 1000pound more spending money and another massive bag as there is so much lovely stuff Id love to bring home. Will have to try and control my spending and my love of shopping!! Otherwise I'll come home with loads of stuff but not much to tell as we wouldnt be able to afford to go anywhere!! haha.
xx
