Well we have finally arrived safe and well. Was a shock to the system arriving here in smelly Bangkok and pplan to move on real soon. The accomodation is very basic but we are grateful to have air conditioning and a bathroom of our own. It sure doesn't take long to adjust to the life style out here. Tuk tuk here, water taxi there. Yesterday we went to the Grand Palace to see stunning architecture dating back 300 centuries.
We have booked a night train up to Chiang Mai for tomorrow night. We can't wait to see a bit of what the real Thailand is like. We have been keeping well away from Western food and have loved every Thai meal to date.
We really miss everyone and hope you are all keeping well.
