Well we had a great but uneventful flight over to Thailand via Melbourne. Had enough time to do a quick trip to the CBD and show Amanda a few shoe shops!! then back to the airport.
Arrived to a pretty warm, muggy 30+ degrees in Bangkok.
Our hotel was to be found down a dodgy wee alleyway but close to where we wanted to be.
Checked out the local food and bevvies before doing a circuit of Khao San Road - this place has changed a bit since the last time I was here - loads of neon and loads more bars. Still the same stuff for sale but the CDs are back on display again!
