Here we are in the plane
The flight to Tokyo from Vancouver was uneventful, Kris and I spent an hour chatting with the purser and a girl from Vancouver.
When we arrived in Tokyo I was amazed at how Westernized Tokyo had become since I was there 20 years ago.
On the next leg of our trip we took Thai Air from Narita to Bangkok. The service on Thai was outstanding. It reminded me of first class in the 60s.

We moved into the Chaophya Park Hotel in the evening and had a good sleep, avoiding the Jet Lag.

We spent a few days getting to know the area and doing a bit of shopping. We discovered the benefits of the BTS (Bangkok Transit System). You can travel anywhere in this huge city.

In Bangkok there are 8 million known residents and 3 million estimated unknown. That makes 11 million people.

The people are friendly and can't do enough for you.

Very safe and modern, Huge buildings going up everywhere, Thousands of high rises.

We met with the Ambasador to Canada and have me many influential Thai people.

Today we are meeting with the people from Siam Steel to discuss
