Pip & Jess Back to Thailand and heading North, through Ayutthaya and Lopburi up to Chiang Mai, and..... Pai!!! (ahh, Pai)
If the beaches weren't all that we'd hoped for, then Pai was everything and a whole lot more.
Relaxing atmosphere (very bohemian) and kitted out with all the comforts of home, Pai is pretty touristy, but so relaxing you don't care.
The best part was that we were reunited with our english friend Katy, and did some serious hanging out together, around the pool.. eating in restaurants..eating in cafes..having massages.. watching a movie(!)...eating some more...etc.
We roused ourselves from all this to go swimming with elephants, and had an amazing time!! (didn't even get squished - incredible!)
