Exploring Angkor Tomb Raider style...

Pip & JessAfter the emotion of Phnom Penh we arrived in Siem Reap for some happier history.

We opted for the seven day pass, (we all know how Pip likes to take her time)and explored the ruined temples of a nearly forgotten civilisation.
The temples you see were first uncovered by the French in the early 70's before Pol Pot came rampaging through destroying everything in his path.

As well as pottering around the ruins and picnicing on old palaces, we found a home away from home at The Red Piano, a wonderful cafe where they make excellent coffee.
