This morning we got up bright and early as we needed to catch the train to Harbour Front shopping centre so we could catch the Cable car to Sentosa Island. From here, we met up with Vincent and Toto, who were also coming to Sentosa. When we got to the top, we bought Luge rides, 5 rides for Vincent and Clint, and 3 for Toto and myself, (we should have bought 5!!). The challenge was on!! We grabbed our helmets and our Luge and we were off. First one to the bottom was Vincent ( we let him win!!), then we got the chairlift back to the top for round 2. On round 3, we raced down the hill but grouped to get a photo together, then continued to the bottom. Rounds 4 and 5 were challenges between Vincent and Clint, each won 1 race, they are so competitive.
From here, we split up as Vincent and Toto were going to do ziplining, and we headed to the Merlion, then another cable car to the opposite side of the island, then got the main cable car back to the Harbour Front shopping centre where we had lunch, this time
we had Thai dishes!
From here we caught the MRT to Orchard Road, where we then had to walk about 500metres as we wanted a foot spa with the little fish. 30 minutes later, our feet felt good, all nibbled up, but feeling very soft. I should have done some research first as we traveled all that way and found out there was one in the shopping centre that we were in!! We caught the MRT back to the Fairmont Hotel, cooled off in our room with a drink and went to the pool, soaking up the sun and ordered a Singapore Sling, just because we are on holidays!
We freshened up and then caught a taxi to Clarke Quay and then we had to decide what and where we would eat as the choice is huge. As we didn't get to go to Little India this time, we got a table for two right on the river and had Indian, what else!! The food was really good. Not far from here was the booking office for the river cruises so we bought one way tickets and took in all the lights along the river and ended up at Marina Bay Sands
where we sat down at waited for the laser light show to start. We have seen the lasers from this show from the Infinity pool last time and also from the other side so this time we saw it from the front, amazing water features with lasers reflecting through the water. Once the show finished we walked through the Marina Bay Shoppes where of course Clint found a CD shop! Finally I dragged him away from this shop so we could catch the MRT home, finally arriving back at the Hotel at around 11pm. We enjoyed a nightcap to end our day before collapsing on the bed to sleep.
