Not far from the hotel is Clarke Quay. Lots of restaurants and clos. To CBD district. There river cruise look its along the river and around the marina. Met a couple staying at the Marina Sands $875 a night! Plenty of money in Singapore. Plenty of flash cars Lamborghinis and Ferraris everywhere. 1 in 6 are millionaires and 70% don't pay tax. Only the 30%rich pay tax.
We went to the Long Bar in Raffles. Great bar great feel to it - peanut shells on the ground was unusual. Had our Singapore Slings they were great. Could have spent a long time there though not sure the wallet could handle the price of the drinks!
