Unbelievable but the journey is underway. We arrived in Singapore at 0800 in the morning and it was already nearly 30 degrees compared with just above 0 in Zurich.
On the way we flew via London and then on to Singapore on the new Airbus A380. Overall 14 hours in total.
We spent the day exploring the area around the hotel including the Singapore river and chilling out in the hotel pool.
It is very interesting to see what Anna and Sophie think of Singapore: they find the city very exciting, clean, like the fact that people smile a lot, find the tall buildings amazing, and the contrast with the old buildings fascinating. They also like the hustle and bustle and particularly enjoyed just looking out of the hotel room window at the world passing by.
Memorable things: how green Singapore is, the smell of the city (according to Vesna a mild sweet smell), the hotel pool (the hit from Sophie and Anna's perspective), a stroll through the Raffles hotel (sadly not staying there).
