From UAE to Singapore

Day 3,4 and 5 - 08/12/2008 UAE, 09/12/2008, Singapore

Writing this staring out at Rache's inflatable bridge in Singapore. Yesterday was a shopping, packing and flying day. Today has been a recovering from not sleeping on the plane day.

Singapore is a marked contrast to the UAE in terms of the greenery. We had a little taste of the neigbourhood on our way to the Raffles Medical Centre (Mark's tummy, Kathryn's bites) - it is mainly made up of shops selling fabrics and the odd cafe. The conditions are close - not sunny.

The complex where Rache lives is lovely - it felt good to use the gym as I've done no exercise for a week. We're now waiting to see if Dj will wake (also didn't sleep on the plane), early enough for us to go to the night safari at the zoo.
