The beautiful city skyline of Singapore We slept in a little because we were so tired but we left the hotel around 11AM for a day to explore Singapore. We headed down to the river and bought some breakfast of the way. It wasn’t long before we reached Raffle’s Hotel, we had a bit of a look around but most of it seemed closed so we continued down towards the Singapore River. We took some photos of the impressive Singapore skyline then decided to check out Sentosa Island which was a theme park style place with various attractions. We found the nearest subway station and headed to the office building where the cable cars left to Sentosa Island. Shortly after we crossed to Sentosa Island in a glass bottom cable car then decided to have a look around. We headed for Palawan Beach and walked to the southern most point of continental Asia and took some photos before heading back to catch a dolphin show around the corner. It was an extremely hot day and I was wearing Jeans but I changed into some shorts I brought and felt much better. We sat and waited for the dolphin show to start and it start pouring down. It

View from our glass bottom cable car on the way to Sentosa Island was raining like crazy, they delayed the show 15min and after the rain passed the show begun. After watching the dolphins doing all their tricks we headed for Underwater World which was included in the ticket price. It was pretty disappointing, the place was tiny, only a few displays and the Oceanarium which was also pretty dull.
We had a quick look around Siloso Beach and went on a 3D simulation ride which was quite fun. We headed to the Merlion statue to get some photos, we were going to go to the viewing platform but we were spending quite a lot of money so decided against it. All this wondering around was making us really tired, we stopped in a bar and had a few drinks while trying to work out what do to for the rest of the day. There was a light and sound show beginning at 7PM so we were going to hang around till then trying some of the rides. The Carlsberg Sky Tower was next, we bough tickets and headed into the capsule which slowly rose to the peak of the tower and gave us a 360 view of Sentosa island. Since we

Bridge to the southern most point of Continential Asia still had quite a bit of time we went to the ‘Sounds of Singapore’ to learn a little bit about Singapore’s cultural side. By the time we finished we headed off to the ‘Song of the Sea’ light and sound show which was quite good. By this time we were stuffed, we got the cable car back across (luckily we paid extra for a glass bottom car, the line for the standard car was massive, we got one straight away.) We planned to do a bumboat cruise down the river but we couldn’t find where to go. We ended up looking around Clarke Quay for a while before then went to get some food at an Italian restaurant we saw back across the river. We were both exhausted and decided that after dinner we’d head back to our hotel. As soon as we got back we fell asleep.
