Well, in a former colony anyway.
Kinda felt at home in the Orwellian state of Singapore as it seems to be run by a politically incorrect internal auditor with a fondness for Sambuca and matches.

Apart from causing trouble as per I did the following:
Saw some graffiti - don't think this person is alive anymore
Asked the 7/11 till attendant where the chewing gum was...IDIOT!!!!
Went shopping at Orchard St
Went to the best zoo I have ever been to and also undertook a ride on the night safari.
Went clubbing at Clarke quay
Got a little angry with a pharmacist as you basically need a prescription for everything
Stayed a bit too long in my room in the Prince of Wales pub - just had to roll out of bed for beer and footy 😊
Ate some of the best indian food I've ever had in Little India
Went to an oldy worldy chinese restaurant where they served brain but couldn't work out how to order it. Instead I just blew my head off with a dish full of the hottest chillis I've ever had!
Went to the ASEAN Cup semi-final 2nd leg to see Singapore beat Malaysia 5-4 on pens. The crowd were

The only footballer who can eat an apple through a tennis racquet...well, and Luke Chadwick of course :)
a little different to those back home - full of screaming girls and mexican waves. Learnt how to abuse the Malaysian opposition in Malay 😊

Bali
Only had 4 days here due to my extended stay in Singapore. The area I stayed in, Kuta Beach, is basically a cross between Magaluf and Newquay on steroids. It's full of surf dudes in the day who seem to turn into chav's at night??!!
Went to see the volcano after a very heavy session.
Visited the memorial for the 2002 bomb, which killed 202 people, which is located where the bomb was detonated and is right in the middle of the nightlife.
Went white water rafting which included a 5m vert drop - was pretty cool.
Chilled out.
Oh, yeh, it was bloody hot and humid.

Garth Crooks: "So, Chris, how did you feel when you rounded the keeper for your hat-trick?" Christophinoz: "Well, pretty good to be honest. Gotta get a bit of showboating in. If I'm not on Soccer AM next week that Lovejoy is dead!" GC: "And when are you going to get a haircut??!!" C: "Fuck off Garth!"
