Hello,

Well what a day!1st we woke up to a swarm of ants in our room - luckily no wear near our beds but still too close for comfort, then we ventured to the heart of China Town and the wet markets to try and be adventurous and sample some local cuisine before we headed off but it was really horrible - not as bad as Little India but a close 2nd - it was heaving, meat was hung everywhere and the smell was horrid, needless to say we didn't stay and instead jumped back on the MRT to Clarke Quay again for our last lunch in Singapore - we ended up in a Hooters (no comments please) by the river as they had a lunchtime special of
$10 dollars, roughly 5 pound and that was for soft drink, starter, main, desert and tea or coffee - a bargain that really suited our budget...

We then made our way to Changi airport which is a massive and impressive place, I spoke to all of my family which was fab and then the plane left on time although a pretty rough ride that had alot of turbulence and made us feel quite sick, we were very happy to get off...

Will continue with our journey tomorrow - much love to all our friends and families. Xx Xx
