Flight took 15 hours due to re-fuelling in K

Tues- We really liked S'pore and spent the rest of the first day checking out China Town and the river bank where I had my first ever S'pore Sling. Hundreds of restuarants lined the river and we enjoyed the one we picked.

Wed 15th - Walked to famous Raffles for a coffee but refused entry inside as wearing shorts. However, garden setting was splendid. Explored S'pore's underground and visited Changi War Museum. Interesting but awful reminder of war. Travelled back by bus and underground. Chatted with Indian lady visiting from Delhi. Said her husband of 40 years (was with her) didn't usually speak to her. Had to exit so didn't find out why!!
