A day's visit at Villa Escudero

one can experience the allure of a philippine country life in villa escudero.

we arrived at the villa at 9am (it was a two-hour drive from manila). after registration, we were given a welcome drink of fresh young coconut at the clubhouse..we visited the museum who has vast collection of religious artifacts.

then we roamed around the plantation onboard carabao drawn carts while being serenaded by the local folks at the same time.. how cool!

we had a feast on a buffet lunch set in a flowing stream amidst tropical vegetation beside the waterfall.

once in a while, it is great to unwind and travel without thinking of all the hustles and bustles of a busy life.
