I got an early flight to Tacloban this May and my friend Emie was also up early to meet me at DMZ airport in this city. PAGASA weather station
My relatives live near beneath the weather station in Sapao. Thank you for this blog. Reminds me of memories 18 years ago. I wish i have time to visit the place.

HOW TO GET TO HOMONHON?
I am interested to stay for a few days in Guiuan and visit Homonhon but go back to Guiuan for overnight stay...how is it possible? Please reply me on my email, as I have completed my tri-island tour plan for august - biliran, leyte and samar but will be happy to include Homonhon in this eastern visayas sortie. thanks.

i remember that pag-asa station that site.....side of that station thare are lots of tuba bahalina ....i like it tuba bahalina mix with pepsi cola wow wow very yummy......and yes poeple of guiuan samar they are very friendly...... were there me and my captain erwin almero we land cessna 172-m rp-c2798 from cebu to guiuan samar airport
