Palawan
Star Fish, Honda Bay We have had such a lay back two weeks doing absolutely nothing after we left Manilla we traveled to the island of Palawan, to Puerto Princesa we found a tree house on a beach and relaxed for a few days met a few travellers and swapped a few travel stories and made new friends which is always good Polish girls who were traveling Philippines to Indonesia. The most lovely couple Vladimir and Katerina who we spend good company with were from Czech Republic and I think I have never seen some one drink so much in my life. Vladimir was crazy and he also danced and sang and even though he spoke English, he did however confuse words like Niece and knees so the story went. This Dutch girl was telling us about her beautiful niece with the beautiful breasts and golden blonde hair and Vladimir was listening and chatting to himself nodding and interrupted " yes yes I am understanding beautiful woman and the breast and the hair they are also beautiful but I knowing this but, even my my wife has beautiful knees, well this went over every one head only us two who nearly rolling over in laughter

Hissing Sid I was nearly wetting my pants hopefully we will catch up with the dynamic duo when we are in Donsol in the next two weeks.
The philapinos, well nothing is too much trouble you just have to chill out if something is wrong then they will fix it make it right. Service and willing to help is way over the top that you think oh my god just leave me alone, but get your head around it and its fine. Not explaining myself very well, say you in a shop in Australia and the shop assistant will say can I help you or I am here if you need any help and leave you alone. Not in the Philippines they are right in you face in your personal space and they stay there. They aren't being rude they want to help you thats what they do, service with a smile takes some getting used too for us Australians and I think the English too, And poor Glen who has issues with people in his personal space struggles with it. They are a very smily people and love dancing and singing there aren't many cranky philapinos
So getting back to
what we have been up too, we visited a subterranean river. Island hopped in Honda Bay, sailing the turquoise waters around tiny islands with the most perfect beaches and pristine waters which are abundant with the most beautiful tropical fish. Stumbled on a family of clown fish when we were snorkelling and was captivated for ages as we watched then peeping in and out of the sea anemone very entertaining it was like Nemo. We ate bbqs on the beach of fish and chicken and laughed with young and old met two young Korean girls who photographed us when we were snorkelling which I thought was odd, you can imagine when they show their holiday snaps to their friends they will say "oh these are the two Australians we thought we would take a picture of snorkelling " like it would be such a random picture don't you think, fish, coral, starfish oh and a couple Australians. We flew from Palawan to Panay to Illinois and caught a bus for 5 hours we listened to Whitney Huston on repeat I thought I was going to jump out off there bus it was that bad I do like Whitney now and

Typical says Glen I chosen very well were to get sick but a least we weren't in the tree house, so we are here till I recover During the day White Beach is full of beautiful people sun baking their body's of all nationalities young and old and in the evening sail boats catch the evening sunset and makeshift dining rooms line the beach and bars and restaurants display an array of fish and foods. fire dancers and large sand castles which are lit by candles light up the beach and everyone winds down and enjoys the evening and the night life begins until the wee hours laughter and music fills the air. Everyone is happy and relaxed no rushing just chilling White Beach is a slice of paradise which
Boracay
Sand castle made each night by local children, pay a few coins to take pictures. is just perfect Enjoyed exploring other beaches on Boracay Island you walk though village areas which have not been bought out by the hotels and it is clear that Boracay people have a strong sense of community, on the island that they will not be pushed around and will not sell their land to developers and they are fiercely fighting to keep there Boracay homes in thier family's even though these people live very simple it's still there Island home. One beautiful beach we visited was Puka Shell beach which has a very coarse sand its beautiful a little bit wild and blustery but a local beach. Next week we head to Donsol via Manila to swim with the Whale Sharks..........
