Greetings from Boracay Day 2!

Today, we really enjoyed the island life and relaxed to the max! Stephen and I actually worked out this morning and I returned in the afternoon, just so I could continue eating the way we are! Since being here in the Philippines, we really haven't had to do much except eat; you are driven everywhere, the maids bring you everything, you ask for something and its done...all you need to is choose what meal is next or where to go!

After some beach time and massages, I dragged Stephen to Cocomangas. It was a bar, my cousin and I found over 10 years ago. The bar offers15 violently sick shots and if you finish all of them you receive your name on a plaque and a free t-shirt! Well when I was 25, it seemed like the smart thing to do. Today, I searched for my name on plaques but could not find mine:( Partially it was my fault, I couldn't remember the month and year we came here! It seems like my cousin and friends can't remember either! I looked all over the 1999-2000 names with the help of the police guard and bartender. The plaques were so eroded and the room was a scorching 110 degrees with no ventilation! Stephen waited outside and with no luck, I gave up! :(

On our way back, I saw this young boy who caught my eye. He was holding his younger sibling (infant) and was comforting her. He was singing and rocking her. It was so sad. I just wanted to take them both, but St. Stephen snapped me back to reality. I ended up giving him his life savings and he just smiled in shock.

This evening, we showered to go out for dinner and we ended up falling asleep! We woke up 11 hours later!! Now its 4 am here and I 'm ready to start a new day!!!

I spoke with my brother and sister and they want to return here next week, so we may be back! But my brother just texted me that he's interested in a Sydney Australia trip next week!! We'll see where we end up! Laos, Thailand and Vietnam is getting flash foods and rain, hence these new plans!!
