I got married almost 3 years ago and we had our honeymoon at Baguio City. We had a great time and we stayed there for 4 days. The following are the places we've been to:

Mines View Park
Located at the extreme northeast of the city, past The Mansion, Mines View Park used to boasts of a spec-tacular view of Benguet's gold and copper mines and the Cordillera mountains. Many houses have been constructed over the old mine sites, though. There are souvenir and silver-works stores by the park and the one especially worth visiting is Rimando's,
on the Gibraltar side.

Baguio Botanical Garden
Also known as the Igorot Village, it showcases the native houses of the different Cordillera tribes. Tourists can usually take pictures with the Igorot tribesmen dressed in their traditional costume. It is also the home of the Baguio Arts Guild.
Botanical Garden is named such because it is tasked with growing pine seedlings and other flora and fauna for
the constant "greening" of Baguio.

Burnham Park
Located at the heart of the city, it is named after the city's planner, Daniel H. Burnham. It features a man-made lake with rowboats for hire, bicycle areas, a children's park, and a skating rink. The Melvin Jones Grandstand is at the center of an open field where many shows are performed. The Orchidarium has local plant varieties and flower species for sale. On one side is the Athletic Bowl with a track oval, tennis courts and a newly constructed swimming pool.

Good Shepherd Convent
You will find the Good Shepherd Convent in the Mines View Barangay. Its main entrance is along Gibraltar Road and it is within walking distance from the souvenir shops at Mines View Park. Being located in the same general area, the convent is usually the next stop for most visitors coming from Mines View Park. For those riding on a vehicle, enter the convent's gate and take the driveway that leads up to the parking lot inside the compound. This is the center of the compound where you will usually find people waiting to be served by the salesclerks of a small store.
