Kota Kinabalu at last!!!

What a crazy journey! it started on mon 26th at 5am and finished tues uk time at 2pm with no sleep and 3 flights - which all included 2 meals each!! ate so much they just kept bringing us more! fab! The flight started in Gatwick to Adu Dabhi - then Adu Dabhi to Bangkok we then had to hang about in bangkok airport for 10 hours!!! KK is fab the weather is hot!! sticky hot but so nice.

Today was wicked went to find the jetty so we could go to beach island but some how missed the jetty and found some randon fishermen, and they told us they would take us over for 250 ringgit!? totally think we were done but it was a crazy experience (sorry ko i did not haggle will try better next time!) - take a look and the pictures they tell the story better.

Such a cool first day hope they all continue like this! cant wait to get into the jungle tomorrow and see some animals - jo saw a monkey from our private jungle beach - was gutted i was swimming so missed it!

Gatwick Airport
Us at Gatwick thought we had way to much luggage but was ok only 23kg! amazing - but did have trouble on our flight with air asia as they onl;y allow 15kg!! ops so had a little bit of repacking to do! luckly they let you take as much hand luggage as the like!

Bangkok Airport
luckly found some where nice to hangout for a few hours!

Some beach in the middel of no where!!
The fisherman took us on a boat trip around this island was cool compleatly covered in jungle and we choose our own beach to hang out on just me, jo, the fisherman and his son (about aged 6! so randon but wicked was total isolated and chilled out - no other tourists!

Crazy Malaysians
they were really nice ppl they waited 5hours while we chilled out and went snorkleing they even brought us food from the main land!

found this fresh fish bbq all caught today! take alook at that one!

Little trip to the bazars
Had a stroll around the markets every thing is so quant! and everyone is so nice and friendly! managed to meet more locals than travellers so far! its fab - start as you mean to go on!!
