Exploration Day

Today we went with Coco to explore the city, starting by having a nice little breakfast at W & O Cafe down the street (I had iced tea!).

We started by going to Khoo Khongsi, an ornate temple, and from there sort of wandered around. We went to another small temple, a mosque (I had to wear a black robe because my knees were showing), the Pinanag Peranakan Mansion, Little India, and the Church pier (Ronald spotted a Komodo Dragon in the water as it was hopping up onto some steps!). It was extremely hot and I was glad to have a rest in the afternoon. We have decided to go to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow, so hopefully we won't melt into puddles before then.

Technical Details
-people are really friendly here without trying to just get your money
-the ATMs are air-conditioned
-it's the year of the rabbit
-Pinanag Peranakan Mansion entrance fee: 10 RM
-the chicken is red here too, just like in Thailand
