By 3pm the next day, after a taxi ride and ferry, Sharon had her wish, we were on the beach on Tioman Island. We were a little disappointed at first as the beach itself was not too good. We couldn't stand the dripping tap in our last place any longer so switched accommodation to this cute hut on stilts.

This guy found the snake had strayed onto the beach so was returning it into the greenery before it got washed away. He assured us it was not poisonous!
