Time to leave our little paradise of Luang Prabang on a long & windy bus ride through opium country to Vang Vieng. Although it was a long travelling day, the kids along the way helped it to be very memorable. Many of them would wave furiously at the bus as it passed by, like they had never seen foreigners before - very cute! Although quite small, Vang Vieng itself has a magnificent backdrop of limstone karsts which we will take a closer look at tomorrow.
