Day 23: Penis Festival Warning: Sculptures & Candy looks like penis. Tell your kids to go away! 9:30am: I woke up, washed my face, brushed my teeth, changed clothes, and ate breakfast (slice of bread with cream cheese and apple juice). When you carry the carriages for the festival/parades, you get this bump. Scary.

There's raw liver and raw meat on the table. Raw liver tasted like jello. Raw meat tasted like raw salmon. I didn't know raw meat was safe.

More information on where and when this takes place is on the following website. http://japan-travel.suite101.com/article.cfm/kanamara_matsuri_draws_crowds "The Kanamara Matsuri is held every spring on the first Sunday in April. The closest station is Kawasaki Daishi. The festivities start at 10am, with the parade commencing later in the afternoon."
