scottish dancing in a japanese park... as you do!

had a great weekend... on friday, laura and I had a quick shop and starbucks in YouMe town shopping mall before heading to james, tom and gareths house for food. they cooked us a korean bbq, which was really tasty and we washed it all down with a few glasses of wine. the boys have just bought a nintendo wii so we had a few games on there but i went in a sulk as i lost every single game we played!

on sunday, i enjoyed a bbq at kinryu park... it was put on for all the volunteers who are going to help out at the charity xmas party next weekend. we ate loads of food and it was great to meet some more people who are teaching out here. a scottish woman and her japanese husband organise it all and she wants to get everyone performing some scottish dances at the party, so we all had to join in and practise these dances, with all the locals walking past and wondering what on earth we were doing!

it's another quiet week at school as the students have exams today and tomorrow... yes, MORE exams - poor kids!

this weekend, i'm looking forward to singing lots of carols in various bars on friday night! on saturday, i'm going to have my hair done... yeeeeeah! and then sunday is the charity christmas party, which will be a lot of fun... i can't wait to come back to england (in less than 3 weeks!) so i can sit down and have a rest for a while!

Hi I have decided i'm going to Japan for a rest. we had our last uni session tonight but have to write a 2000 essay by january. school is mad lots going on. my calendar is full every week. I am tired i want barbie and wine and hair done.oh talking of hair emma won a foot spa, free hair do and £20 towards beauty treatment at the xmas fair. of course she was very quiet about it no big deal and she hasn't mentioned it since. but i do know that she will have hair done before xmas and have a facial after xmas and her feet feel lovely. have a fab weekend love helen
