Gili Trawangan (between Bali and Lombok), Indonesia - 13/1/10

Hello!

We're enjoying a fairly relaxed day on Gili T, although we did manage to fit in walking around the entire edge of the island! It's lovely here, and the weather hasn't been too hot today like yesterday. I'm a little bit burned but Sarah got the worst of it!

We arrived in Senggigi on Lombok on the 8th (I think) and didn't do an awful lot, it took most of the day to get there having left quite late. Then we spent a day relaxing, and then the day after we hired a moped and managed to get ourselves to the Ganggi waterfalls and back without falling off and/or hurting ourselves. It was a bit hairy - I was doing the riding although Sarah had a few goes as well, although not with me on the back.

Then yesterday we headed here, stopping off on Gili Meno first which was a really deserted island, although we still managed to find a bar! We're relaxing agian today, then off to Kuta (Bali) tomorrow to meet up with a friend we met in Kuala Lumpur for her birthday. Then we fly to Singapore on the 16th.
