It was in the middl eof the night when we (7 peeps) went from Malang heading to Bromo mountain by jeep. At first, we all kinda nervous and felt something wasn't so sure with the driver but we kept on going.
On our way going up to the mountain, our jeep stopped while the driver pay some entrance taxes for us.
It was on sloppy road, and really really high..
In sudden, we're just awake from sleep, we could feel that our car slowly runnind down the hill with uncontrolable. And all of us ( more female than male :P) kept shouting and screamed the driver's name. Nothing stop the jeep and we just freely running down that dark and sloppy high road. Until the jeep steer turn to right and we crashed a small guardian post without falling down to the deep valley 😞
well, no wonder everybody kept silence and stared each others without any words to say..
but the driver only said "Oh, I broke my car!" what the fuck?!?!...
On rest of the road, nobody abl to sleep. We still stunned with that accident hehe..
Then we arrive on Penanjakan area to watch the sunrise
before reaching Bromo crater. There's only few local people there, only foreigners and lot of French people. And I tried (over brave) to talk with a French man which is I can't even understand what he said lol.. and I passed that man to my friend from German which later both of them speak on Spanish.. eh? so bilingual!! :P
We're waiting too long for the sunrise until some of my friends couldn't afford it anymore and we did lot of crazy things up there. Singing, dancing, giggling, and more.. till all people keep looking at us and wondering what the heck are we doing? Yes, we're doing crazy things of course!! :D
Hm.. it's 6 AM when the fog still thick and we've been waiting for 1,5 hours. While every people begin to give up, we think that we should give up and just head on to Bromo crater.. It was so freaking cold and fogging sunrise! not a fucking sunrise, that's too rude.. 😊
Than we passed on a kind of black sand deserts to reach Bromo crater. The base area of the crater fulled with local people offered us their horse. It's about 10$ for
going up and down, but you can try to bargain it.
I chose to walk and it really had me paid on lot of attention, otherwise I'd stepped on horse's shits 😞
Oh, if you have rally motorbike, you can use it to go upside too 😊 but still, be careful with those shits..
It's about 30 min to hike the crater, but I got 1 hours to reach it cause I never on any sport activities and it really wasted my breath.
After reached the top, you could see the crater and smell some sulphur gasses. I don't think we could stay up there for a long time cause when you go back down, you'll feel kinda hard to breathe.
Well, since it has nothing more to see, we're just go back down and decided to back home 😊
and before it, we took some of our friends to nearest station cause they're going to continue their trip to Ijen crater.
Rest of us couldn't afford that day and we fell asleep on jeep, though the driver took it passed the rocky road which turned our stomach up and down like a blender. 😞 and along our
way home, we passed a huge green hill... wait, it's really really green green meadow like in any Teletubbies's show setting :D hehe..
and home.... time to shower!!! 😊
