The religion of Sikhism started in India in the 16th century. The current state of Sikhism is that there are about 23 million Sikhs worldwide, and it's ranked number 5 in top religions. The cosmology of Sikhs are that they believe in forces of nature. Also, they accept the theory of the universe being created by the Big Bang Theory and space expansion. The creator of Sikhism Guru Nanak believed that there was only one god making this a monotheistic religion as well as god being called om. They forbid images of him to be displayed. Sikhs believe in karma and reincarnation where if you die, you get to live another life as another form like a video game. Karma is like the saying what comes around goes around. Sikhs believe in baptism as well called amrit. They do it so that they are sure to understand the commitment they are making to join the religion.
