Udaipur

Udaipur is a really nice city and we went to another palace/museum to see expensive old things. But by now we have just about had enough of maharajas and their buildings. Everywhere seems to claim that inspiration for the Taj Mahal came from their palace/tomb/fort etc. There's a couple of big lakes which are very pretty and make for good sunset dinners, but the best thing we did here was a cooking class. We learned how to make chapatis and the bases for most curry sauces from around India! Now all we need is a spice box and Nessy can cook!!
