Dalpat and Guman. Dalpat (who also goes by the name Delboy) is a lovely and gentle chap. He owns the whole company. Guman has possibly the best mustache in India.

Jalam cooking. He is the nephew of Dalpat and is a hardworking chap. He always poses for pictures so it is hard to get a candid shot....

The chaps bedding down for the night. If not out in the desert they sleep in the basement of the hotel. I was going to try and wash the pillows but cant bring myself to.

I heard feeding cows gives you better Karma, so I have befriended this one.

I asked why one of the rooms had a TV that doesn't work. I was told "it was just for show". Now I clean the TV that is just for show. I am becoming Indian.

Cleaning a Camel Saddle, a real pleasure for me to get so close to such an object of beauty.

It is really rather lovely.

And in the evening when the seventy five and a half million tourists go home it returns to a working and living place.
