This is Piru testing out my E Cigarette. I love Piru very much, a lovely and funny chap. And possibly the worlds thinnest man.

We are very close to the Pakistan border so the Indian Government has built loads of wind farms to power the floodlights and various military bases.

Once again my Mums silk sheet comes in useful. All I need now is a hostage and a YouTube channel. This is a selfie. I am yoot.

So the Camel. The exact reason why man invented the Range Rover. Which one would you prefer?

See, a Range Rover is just........better.

Dinner in the desert.

Standard Issue desert dune photo. Truth is most of the Thar desert is bushy scrub land.

Standard issue cute desert kid photo. We had a guest complain about the use of child labour as camel drivers. But in this place this is a great job and in many instances pays for school or supports several family members. People just don't understand.

I exploited the same child to drag me down the dunes on a bag. Is this child labour?

Standard issue Desert sunset picture. Very lovely though isn't it. The splodge on the left of the picture is a piece of sand inside the lens. Not a UFO.

Morning in camp. I will be honest, sleeping on sand is not actually that comfortable.

We saw the sun set and we watched the sun rise again.

Piru is my lovely brother. Here he is doing what he does best, driving while on his mobile phone.

This is an especially sneeky shot of the police questioning Piru about his various licences. There were snacks, tea and lots of back slapping.

Even out here in the desert religion plays a very important part of life.

I was lucky enough to be here for the Holi festival where everyone throws colour at each other. It is jolly fun and exactly why I travel.
IMG_1673IMG_1673

I believe Holi is a fertility festival. I personally think they should give a miss for a decade or so. Can I say that?
IMG_1674IMG_1674

Holi involves getting very drunk in the morning, sleeping in the afternoon and then some more booze in the evening.
IMG_1678IMG_1678

Everyone was covered in colour, except the police, which I though was funny.

I love tourists, heading out in to Holi with massive expensive cameras.

Nice to see some women out, truth is Holi is pretty male dominated.
