We had some problems finding out how to get to our next destination, in Hampi they just tried to sell us a taxi ride at a high price. We took the local bus to Hospet, trying to catch a train at 9:00 am that we had read about somewhere. Once you manage to reach cave 4 you will be suprised by the only Jain cave temple in Badami

The speciality of the Jains is to depict their deity completely naked

Excellent narration of your trip - light hearted and full of interesting historical facts. I missed Badami and Humpi this time. Next time I go to Goa, I will make sure to visit. I wish I could do one year tour. Enjoy. regards, ken
