Kids in Leh

Having a gala time in the courtyard of a bazaar ! They were so cute, all over Ladakh. Anyways kids are great as long as they are somebody else's !

Drass War Memorial - though I am not sure I agree to this.

Visiting Kargil and Drass was very poignant. To read the stories of our martyrs in many wars and to see our soldiers serving the country with a smile under such treacherous conditions.

One more road repair in Nubra valley near Diskit

It was heartening to see BRO getting the roads repaired since they are open only for 4 months and are the lifeline to the Army and people in this region.

At Pang, not sure what this was !

This terrain is really Mother Nature's way of showing the finger to humans but the people here are so resilient. Hats off to them and their spirit !

Wonder what's in a tent ? It's a studio apt ! With kitchen, dining and beds all together with plenty of quilts, which you need since it is very cold in the nights even in summer.
