Panjim bus station
pretty much theres someone yelling each busses destination loudly & poeple just run at them! YAY government busses!! After our time in Bangalore we headed out west to Goa for a little break.
On the train on the way in a family politely asked B if they could take his picture because he looked like Jesus. That was pretty funny. he actually did! They also kindly directed us to the public shuttle bussess & from that moment on we caught only local bussess... which was so much cheaper and more fun than Auto's 😊
The hotel Bhawan found us was gorgeous. cheap and friendly, with a yummy breakfast & cheap scooter hire, had us cruising around in no time! While it was really hot everything was fine on the back of the bike or with a cold shower or a cold 25rupee beer at sunset point!
We got to see Dudsager Falls, the 2nd highest waterfall in India... which we swam in & bhawan jumped off the rock apparrently only the russions jump off 😊
Old Goa was pretty neat... and sadly a misunderstanding means i missed the Anjuna markets. being off season there were no wild tourist parties or night markets or fire-walking that people spoke about so really we got a peaceful little
locals at the waterfall
who like, posed & tried to take attention from the waterfall! break (that was much needed!)
The only botch up came on a bus trip out to the little town of Hampi. the driver was meant to drop us off at Hubli in order for us to change busses in the middle of the night. Unfortunately someone forgot to tell the other relief driver & we accidently got taken back to Bangalore. Noone took responsibility & simply dropped us at a different travel agent. He suggested i do some sightseeing in bangalore, to which i replied "i've lived here for 2.5 months ive seen it i paid you to take me to Hubli" i was angry, and we wasted a day. but once we got to hampi it was pretty fun, but were ready to go home by early afternoon. It's kinda like being taken to brisbane when you asked to go to coffs harbour. or newcastle even. fairly far off the mark!!
Despite it all, our friendly hotel manager doubled over crying with laughter when he heard what happened to us. The people in Goa are much more adjusted it seems!
We also regretted leaving the place, & would reccommend it to anyone who goes. its
big waterfall
aprox 650meters called Palm Groove. its pretty groovy. kinda like Goa, even in the off season!

Dont jump bhawan!!!
Wow, that jump looks bigger than you described :S And btw, in the photo "the coolest thing in hampi" the guy over your right shoulder (or our left) was giving you a bit of a weird look :P
