Liming is located 120Km away from Lijiang , has the red sandstone Karst Mt.s landscape where Lisu minority inhabit in the deep valleys. Liming is the largest Karst landform in SW China_240 square Km. Liming mean daybreak , its said tht Lisu ancestor chasing after the sun to find where where the sun is rise, After overcome any obstacles coming to here , they considered it’s a place where the sun rises and falls three times a day so they thought here is sun rise place then inhabit here. Lisu is a sun love minority, sun means a totem in their mind, you can found this interest sun symbol in their costume even in the graves after people dead. In 1998 , re named as Liming Lisu Autonomous Township, surface e occupied 630 square Km, the population is abt 8000, got Lisu,Naxi,Han,Bai and Yi, the Lisu taken up abt 80 %. The elevation is normally from 2000m to 3816m
