The Daddy of Old Towns

Hi All,
So good to be out of the mountains and at a much lower elevation.
A 4 hour bus ride south from Shangri-la and we arrived in Lijiang. Stayed in a small hotel close to Mu Palace, very quiet and secluded. Lovely to relax and ease away the strains of mountain hiking.

Really enjoyed our few days here walking the sometimes heaving othertimes empty old streets. The Naxi food has also been excellent especially the black eyed bean tofu in a spicy sauce.

Moving on towards Dali tomorrow. Looking forward to that
