Songpan Town to Ice Mountain..... The beginning!!

Current mood: Its wicked.

So its going well so far, even tho the digs were freezing in songpan town. but after another cheaky TETLEYS (cheers hunny) and a wicked hot shower im up and on my way to the cafe for Banana and Hunny pancakes! 20 minutes go by and all full up, im standing outside looking up at the surrounding hills and mountains!!! then the horses arrive and im in awe from the saddle!

The day begins and we are on route for a four day trek. The hills are cold in the morning and after four hours of riding we are setting up camp in a secluded valley with an ice cold stream/river running by!

Day one consists of chilling out around the fire eating and drinking all singing and chatting about random stuff including Jack magee or some one like that hahhaha. Oooh we have a girl with us called Vanessa who is a cantonese english speaking gal who speaks Mandarin (chinese) so we are bombarding her with translations for the guides in attempt to find out what they have planned for us! It seemed they wernt to happy for us taking four days on the trek and were desperately trying for three but we stick to our guns and say were doing the whole trip! when we finally got through to the guides that we were staying and no hard feeling later we end in a sing off (propper Run DMC and Jamm master dave stylee!)

All full up on some pretty decent nosh and very pissed on local vodka we retire to our pits for preperations tomorrow!! the day we await is unknown at this point to we just get on with it and get our heads down!!!!
