OK So I have some kinda big news for everyone...
I put mom and dad in a cab today heading to the airport. I think they enjoyed their time in Shanghai but I think Mom is still a little traumatized by the whole trip. Daddy loved Shanghai and was already talking about coming back
Here is a short summary of their trip
Thursday, March 10th
Arrive at 5:00ish from Osaka, Japan. Eat Dinner at Noodle shop for $1.50. Took Mom to Trivia where we WON!
Friday, March 11th
They come to school for the day and then we went to have dinner at a fancy Chinese restaurant because it was Shanghai Restaurant week with great prefix meals.
Saturday, March 12th
Tour around Shanghai a little and go to the fabric market. Have dinner at New Heights on the Bund!
Sunday, March 13th
We went on a FABULOUS pearl tour with Angela. We also had brunch with my friends at Sasha's and found Pamela a sweet kitten. At Dinner at the JW California Grill.
Monday, March 14th
Back to the Pearl Market after work
Tuesday, March 15th
Mom and dad went on a French Connection (as mom called it) but really it is the French Concession tour with my friend Amy. Ate at Element Fresh.
Wednesday, March 16th
FAKE MARKET!
Thursday, March 17th
Mom and Dad did the Arts and Crafts Museum
Friday, March 18th
Off to Beijing. Saw the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.
Saturday, March 19th
Great Wall. Daddy found the mangiest cat I have ever seen and of course wanted to take it home
Sunday, March 20th
Temple of Heaven then home to Shanghai.
Monday, March 21st
Mom and Dad did the Shanghai Museum then we picked up fabric market stuff. We had Hunan food with all of my friends.
Tuesday, March 22nd
Mom and Dad is the Pearl Market AGAIN! We also had dinner with Bo Brandt who is studying in Shanghai
Wednesday, March 23rd
Put them in a taxi at 7:00 : (
Mom was glad to be heading home but Dad was talking about coming back already.
Anyways back to the big news.... I have decided to stay another year in China!!!
