Was up and ready to go at 7am for our weekend excursion to Dangdong on the North Korean border. This involved a 5 hour bus journey which was actually quite enjoyable and I used the time to write up my previous entries on my phone. Spent the journey sat next to James and across from Jess and Katy. Me and James compared our music choices which turned out to be similar, we are soul mates!

Lunch was in similar style to before but contained more seafood!! The cooked fish was whole so used my years of experience to swiftly debone, there were also some delicious prawns. We picked up our tour giude who would turn out to speak the biggest load of pro-china propaganda ever, especially with regards to the Korean War.

We then went rafting, which was a little different to my experiences in New Zealand... The raft was a two man rubber dingy which bounced nicely off the rocks. I paired up with David and we were off, safely wrapped in lifejackets but to my horror no helmets!! However turned out fine and it was very peaceful and the scenery was beautiful....until Max and Matt started to

fight everyone! Was great fun and when we got tired we bound our rafts together, at one pijnt making one out of 9, including some chinese people who spoke no english! They took some photos of us so I got one and it is great! Will upload soon i promise..

On way to hotel introduced James to some Seth Lakeman which obviously he loved! Had another great dinner and then more drinks in various rooms as we kept getting into trouble. Was very hot but a great night!
