A friend and I decided to go on a day trip to visit Hangzhou, a very pretty town on a very large lake (West Lake) about an hour by bullet train outside of Shanghai. I came across your blog as I live in Hangzhou and blog on Travelblog also. We have been back in Hangzhou for 2 weeks now and it seems like weather.com has disappointed us also. But the sun has finally arrived for a few days and then back to rain next week supposedly. YUCK!
