Cambodia
This is Angkor Wat, the sunrise at 6am. Wow. NIKE: After a gruelling 9 hour bus ride on the worst roads this side of tipton and a 3 hour border crossing wait we finally got to cambodia.
Siem Reap is a cool place, very chilled out with very nice people. The cambodians are so friendly, always smilling, amazes me what they have been through as a nation yet they are so positive and friendly, when you think of how good we have it in the UK and everyone is so miserable and never smiles. Its just sad
One thing about siem reap is the mixture of rich and poor, the road we are on has alot of expensive hotels (ours isnt 1, $5 a night, bargain!) yet you walk 10 mins down street and there are near naked kids begging for money, You have to have patience with them, as it isnt their fault, but with so many kids you realyu cant give any money, but i think after uni we may volunter at the orphanage here for a few months, nat and i been discussing it, sounds like a good thing to do.
Anyway..... we have been to angkor wat and the surrounding ruins over

Nike standing in front of Angkor Wat :D the past few days, its been realy ace. It is so amazing, realy beautiful, it realy hits home that we are actually here, after looking on the net at pictures for ages, then here we are!!!! Plus we had an elephant ride which was an experience, kinda scary, but really fun, plus how often do you get to ride an elephant in cambodia?

Okies so i think Cambodia is a big culture shock, everyone is soooo nice here but yet so poor. It's alot different to Thailand. I have never seen so many young children on the streets begging or trying to sell you bracelets etc. What can i say, Angkor Wot was an amazing sight. We also went to other temples including Angkor Thom which was the bayon face temple, amazing! We also had an elephant ride which was so class, i was giggling the whole time! Our hotel is so ace too, $5 a night and thats with a tv and bathroom, bargain!!!! Anyway Nike has said pretty much everything so........ kisses x

p.s......we decided to rent a moped in koh chang, with nat driving cause of my general lack of eyesight, we lasted 2 mins until we came off, smashed the wing mirror, nat cut her leg and we looked silly....but still lesson learnt!!!!

wooooooohoooooo hope your ass aint to sore from that elephant ride Nat lol ... That looks as amazing as the last place you were at (although im still in love with the hut you had lol) ... and NO Nat you cannot adopt all those kids sorry girly lol ....
