Flight: New Delhi (DEL) to Paro (PBH), Druk Air XXX, Economy
Hotel: Namgay Heritage Hotel, Thimphu, Bhutan -taxi from hotel ~350
-very early to terminal, no display on monitor for flight
-finally found flight, ATM
-checkin for drukair, got seat on left side for Himalaya view
-king had come in on outbound flight
-good flight, clear view of himalaya
-twist and turn coming in for landing, very dry/brown
-100 years of peace and happiness sign
-bhutan-style terminal, mandala on ceiling
-changed some money, 500Rs notes not usable!
-met driver (Doobu) and guide (sonam), nice Toyota Prado SUV
-drove to Thimphu, temple, iron bridge
-GPS to trace road.. three stupas at river (evil spirits)
-Motion sickness from twists, turns
-Indian company DANTAK mantains roads
-Got to thimphu, saw gas station in local style
-Hotel was GORGEOUS; 5 floors, all hand carved painted
-Free wifi, nice room with heater
-Walked into down, kids jumping, 'traffic light'
-Found meatshops
-Swiss bakery, BEST eclair
-Dinner at hotel, chilies and cheese, Kencho

-Lunch at Karma coffee
-Memorial chorten, prayer flag hill, giant buddha
-Swiss bakery closed but another one behind hotel, not as good
-dinner at thimphu kitchen, tried rice wine
