8:15 (Tanzania Time, 1:15 am EST)- Leave Springland Hotel in Moshi for Arusha Airport
11:06 (TT; 4:06 am EST)- arrive at Arusha Airport
I get there to check in and they don't have me on the manifest. I asked if I could use their Internet to show them my confirmation because they keep saying "Did you pay?" I printed out my payment confirmation and my bank statement to show it had been deducted from my account. The dude kept saying that he had to talk to Rashida (my booking agents). I kept asking what that would do if there were no spots on any of the flights and could he start looking for another way to get me to Dar in time, but he kept being like I can't unless I know you paid. This was the point at which I started yelling because no progress had been made for an hour and a half. It was so frustrating. At about 12:10 (flight supposed to leave at 12:15), he tells me to follow him, rushes me through a joke of security, and then I stand there for about a half hour. Someone tells me to follow them again and I finally get on a plane, it just happens to be going to Zanzibar first. Wooh.
12:56 pm (5:56 am EST)- Leave Arusha for Zanzibar
2:42 pm (7:42 am EST)- arrive Zanzibar
2:57 pm (7:57 am EST)- leave Zanzibar
There were only 2 people on the flight and I had been with the pilot form Arusha and he invited me to sit up front with him in the copilot seat- pretty cool, especially flying over Zanzibar!
3:22 pm (8:22 pm EST)- arrive Dar es Saalam
4:55 pm (9:55 pm EST)- leave Dar es Salaam for Dubai
10:23 pm (3:23 pm EST)- arrive Dubai
12:40 am (5:40 pm EST)- load plane in Dubai
2:00 am (7 pm EST)- finally take of from Dubai to NYC
7:59 am EST- arrive in NYC
10:00 am EST- leave NYC for Atlanta
11:55 am EST- arrive Atlanta
2:40 pm EST- leave Atlanta
4:50 pm EST- arrive Orlando Airport
7:30 EST- arrive Home....
