So we finally made it up the mountain!

So yesterday it decided to clear up and we took the gondola up to the summit of Table Mountain (1085 ft). It was so gorgeous- it was still really cloudy up there so we were wandering around in the clouds and sometimes they would clear and we could see down below. My pictures don't do it justice at all. And it was way foggy, so they are kind of crappy. But oh well- it was gorgeous. And I'll be back later to actually hike up it when it's clear out. But when the sun is shining I can really see why this is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Other than that we've just been wandering around, going to some markets, etc. We got pasta and pizza for 7 people for a total of $7 today from the grocery store. Food is so cheap over here. and there is this amazing place next to where we are staying called gelato mania and it tastes SO GOOD. i dont know exactly what gelato is- basically ice cream except its way healthier for you. its probably a good thing we didnt go there earlier because it tastes amazing. But we're heading out of cape town tomorrow, and heading up the coast to outdshoorn. I think we're staying in a sweet cabin there, and if i remember correctly that is where we go spelunking!
