Sooooo, back in Sedgeveg, got a lift back in a very cramped car with Nadia, because the woman who booked our bus for us mucked up and booked us on the 0600 in the morning one!! But its all good, we're here now :p Cape Town was so awesome, training school starts tomorrow, will hopefully not die :p

So on Tue (24th) I had to do some washing in the hostel kitchen sink, was an experience :p and someone nicked my cheese!! Me and Iona booked our Cape of Good Hope/Wine tours, dropped TishTash off at the bus, then went and saw the art gallery (can't remember the name of it) was interesting and very varied!! And chilled in the County gardens for a bit, was nice, lots of different parts. We took Leonard and Venkie out for dinner, because it was their last night and they'd done so much for us, had an awesome strong brie/cranberry burger!! And beat Leonard at pool :D managed to get hold of a 300g bar of top deck, woot!!

Wed was the Cape Peninsula tour!! Was really good. Went to Hout Bay for a seal tour, was rubbish weather but we saw the seals!! Then a nice view at Muzemburg (sp?!) and choc bics, then went to the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve and got to CYCLE!! Me and Iona went for it, it was awesome, not cycled in so long!! Had a nice lunch, chatted to a Canadian couple a bit, then went down to the lighthouse, spoke to someone from Ediburgh, and went down to Cape Point, the most South-Westerly part of SA. It was beautiful. Random guy called Richard bought us a bottle of wine, was kool!!

Janes b'day on Thurs!! Called her and spoke to her, was nice 😊 we then went to the district 6 museum, was really interesting to hear how everyone was segregated on their colour in to different districts, then we went to the planetarium and watched a film on star gazing (totally nearly fell asleep though, as its a picture on the domed ceiling!!) it was funny. Then we saw the planetarium itself, it was maaaaaaaassive, but interesting, lots of wildlife photography and real-size creatures. Think I saw a dead person for the first time 😞 there was a fire at one of the clubs, and someone was being lifted down off a balcony... we went to the Astra school (Sam and Danika and Penny and Claire's school for disabled kids) for dinner with them, was good to catch up 😊 and had my first desert in ages!! Lemon merangue (sp?) met some of the kids, they have more luxuries than us in a way, but are often limited to their compound. Chatted to their cheap taxi man Archie, he was really interested in what we were doing!!

Wine tour on Thurs!! Haha, that was such an awesome day, but we got sooooo unbelievably drunk, it was ridiculous. We had a good group, loads of folk from the UK, really friendly, and we decided not to spit... the first place was a Cellar tour then wine, finally learned how Rose is made!! (6 hours on the red grape, white is 6 hours on the white grape, red is 12-24hours on the red grape) and had our first batch of wines 😊 Then went on to the second place and had more wine (everyone was pretty away with it by this point) went for lunch in Stellenbosch, I had a lovely fish plate, was really meaty!! Went to a chocolate shop and bought some nice chocolates, then the 3rd wine place, in a lovely garden, I found a good tree to climb, don't remember how I got up or down, but I remember being in the tree :D there was a museum there too I think. The last place was a cheese tasting place too, and I ate soooo much cheese (Dad, I even ate BLUE CHEESE!! :p) and it was nice, may I add. I don't remember the bus journey home, but I remember getting an awesome massage, walking to the wee Spar off Long Street to get chocolate, and me and Iona drawing all over each other :p after crashing out, we woke up at 1am and Acid Blues were on again, went and chatted to people with a splitting headache, felt so rubbish the next day!! Well worth it though :p

Fri was Kezzle's bday!! Called him, was so good to talk to him. (Tell me how the party went!!) :p hung out with some of the Aussies that had arrived from Lattitude, wandered down to Pick and Pay to buy cheese and bread, then me and Iona and Charlotte and Sophie (Aussies) went back to Kirstinbosch gardens to have a proper look - is totally stunning. G&G, we neeeed to go back there, and also see Robben Island - I didn't get a chance, and totally regret not seeing it!! When we got back we all got pizza (sick of pizza now :p) and spoke to Roy on the phone 😊 me and Iona watched a bit of the Irish/English rugby game, but it was pretty boring, so I went back and hung out with Aussies, we went to Stones the pool bar, danced a bit, then came back and hung out on the balcony. It was so good, I chatted to some of the people who I didn't even know their names of on the breifing, met some awesome people!!

Today just came back to Sedgefield - was sooo hot in the car!! Apparently we might be heading up to Grabouw again on Sat... not sure what to make of this, and no idea for how long we're going, will try and find out though, to make life easier for G&G when we're planning stuff 😊 actually looking forward to training tomorrow, actually eating half decently again and exercising!! Miss/love yooooooooooooooo all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
