Satara Rest Camp - KNP.

We left Olifants early the next day and started to drive to Satara Camp which was another 130km away, we saw more animals on the way and wild birds. We stayed the night in some more African style thatched huts and the next morning had to get up really early to go on a sunset drive and had to get up at 3:30am!!

We saw lots more animals on this drive and the beautiful African sun which is quite different to the sun you see in Europe, so much larger. We saw lots of Wildebeest, rhinos who crossed the road just in front of the vehicle! some ground Hornbills which are at risk of becoming extinct, Vervet monkeys, tortoises, hippos and we heard the lions roaring but couldn't see them! We also saw another kill this time with Jackal dogs and Hyenas eating.
