May 2, 2006 - Day 17 - Packed everything up in the trucks to get back to Richard and Will so we could get on the road and back to Namibia for the day. It was a long day made worse by the fact that Will had run over a goat carcass on the way to pick us up and the truck simply reeked and made better by a few random elephant viewings along side the road. It really is Africa. Went to a place called Katima Mulilo, where I bought chips and cookies with my last Namibian dollars. And amen, because I was starving and we didn’t have lunch until 3pm. The just hanging out for the rest of the day, spending time with the people who would be leaving us at the end of the first three weeks.
