Big for a tortoise
It all changed once I reached Grunau on the N7 heading north in Namibia. The hot sun was replaced by clouds, the wind became northerly.
Towns became a lot further apart. Water wasn't piped in the large town of Tses and the road got narrower.
As always, not booking ahead, and finding places still, I came to the capital to find places full up. So that was a first also.
Still, that was then on the way up to Windhoek.
But I met a tortoise and dribbled water on its head, not to know later a down pour would supply a lot more.
I am now preparing to turn right and head along the B6 into Botswana and head for Ghanzi.
